What is the per-kilo price?
In Morocco, genuine daghmous usually sells between 300 and 450 DH per kilo. Spring honey is around 200 DH, citrus honey 80–120 DH. The gap comes from how rare and hard the harvest is.
Why so expensive?
Euphorbia blooms only once a year for a few weeks in harsh, dry zones. Beekeepers move hives at exactly the right time. That manual work sets the price — not the packaging.
Beware of rock-bottom prices
“Daghmous” under about 50 DH per 250g is often blended or mislabeled. Genuine daghmous is dark brown, strong, with a characteristic warmth. Ask for the origin before you buy.
